What We Offer
From your first therapy session to ongoing psychiatric medication management – and everything in between – we offer integrated, coordinated care at every step.
Individual Therapy
One-on-one sessions with licensed therapists across all age groups. We match you thoughtfully based on your concerns, preferences, and life circumstances – not just whoever has an opening.
LCSW · LMFT · LPC · LMSW
Medication Management
Psychiatric nurse practitioners evaluate, prescribe, and monitor medications for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more while coordinating directly with your therapist.
NP-led · Monthly or quarterly visits
Integrated Care
Many practices offer therapy or medication management. We offer both under one roof, with providers who communicate directly — so your care is coordinated, not fragmented.
Therapy + NP together
Child, Teen & Family Therapy
Specialized providers working with children, adolescents, and families. For minor clients, parents and caregivers are essential partners in the process – we build that collaboration in from day one.
All ages · Family-centered
Trauma & PTSD Treatment
EMDR-trained clinicians specializing in trauma processing and PTSD treatment – one of the most evidence-based approaches available, and still relatively uncommon in general outpatient practices.
EMDR · Trauma-informed care
Substance Use Counseling
Licensed alcohol and drug counselors with specialized expertise in substance use alongside mental health treatment – because co-occurring disorders deserve to be treated together, not separately.
LADC · Dual diagnosis
Not sure which treatment is right for you?
- What makes us different
Why WCT
In a field where many practices have long waitlists, limited insurance acceptance, and disconnected care, WCT was built around a different belief entirely.
Real people answering your call.
Shannon, our dedicated intake coordinator, handles new inquiries with real warmth. Carolyn manages our medication management line. You won’t be routed through an endless phone tree — you’ll reach a human who knows what to do next.
We take your insurance.
Including Husky Health (Connecticut Medicaid). Quality mental health care shouldn’t be a privilege. We accept most major commercial plans, Medicare, and Medicaid — because geography and finances should never stand between a person and their healing.
Therapy and medication management, together.
Receiving both services at the same practice means your providers communicate directly. You won’t have to repeat your story to two different people at two different practices. We coordinate so you don’t have to.
A network that hasn't lost its heart.
We’re a 50 provider, 7-location network that hasn’t sacrificed what matters: the personal, relational quality of care. Growth has been intentional. Every provider is fully credentialed and billing. Every client is a person, not a case number.
- How we Treat
Our Clinical Approach
Evidence-based. Human-centered. Yours.
Treatment plans are built with you - not for you. At intake, every client undergoes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to build an individualized plan, which is reviewed every 90 days, and updated as your needs evolve.
Thoughtful Matching
We match you to a provider based on your specific concerns, preferences, and needs - not just whoever has an open slot. If the fit isn't right, we'll find the right match within WCT.
Co-created Treatment Plans
Your goals shape your care. Treatment plans identify your concerns, modalities best suited to your situation, measurable objectives, and any coordination needed between your therapist and our NP team.
Progress You Can See
We use validated assessments - including the PHQ-9, GAD-7, and PCL-5 - at intake and throughout treatment, so both you and your provider can track how you're moving forward.
At WCT, we believe reaching out for support is an act of courage - not weakness
