Brenda " Bren" Washington

LPC-A

Brenda Washington-Rheaume is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a strong and diverse background in social services, including clinical case management, community support, and individual counseling. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services and provides compassionate, client-centered care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and life transitions.

Brenda’s therapeutic approach blends empathy, collaboration, and solution-focused strategies to support clients in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change. She draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with the wisdom gained from years of working with individuals from all walks of life. Brenda understands that no two people share the same story, and she tailors her approach to honor each client’s unique history, strengths, and goals.

She welcomes adult clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, substance use (personal or within the family system), codependency, and other complex life challenges. Brenda views counseling as a powerful tool for fostering self-awareness, acceptance, and forward momentum—and she’s honored to walk alongside her clients in that journey.
