Ellen Motsko

LPC-A

I am an LPC-A that looks forward to providing mental health care to all the clients that I see. I have my B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State University and my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Joseph. I have previous counseling experience with a diverse population of clients including anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar, narcissistic personality disorder, and borderline personality disorder, and have a special niche working with the LGBTQIA community. I have also worked with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.

My style of counseling is strength-based. I use DBT and CBT modalities as well as using Person-Centered techniques. I provide an environment that is comfortable and peaceful for my clients.  I work with my clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship so that I can collaboratively work with the clients to find out what their needs are and how to work with them toward meeting those needs.
