Hello, my name is Natalie Murphy and I am an LMSW social worker. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University with a concentration in mental health and substance use disorders. I have worked in various clinical settings including in-home counseling, community mentorship program, and group practices similar to WCT. I have experience working with adults and adolescents and children who suffer from anxiety, depression, everyday life stressors, ADHD, eating disorders, substance use, and trauma. I also have training in multisystemic therapy (MST) and prolonged exposure therapy (PE) for those suffering with deep rooted trauma. Through an integrative approach, I will help you identify your goals, barriers, and strengths in a comfortable environment. I strive to meet my clients where they are at and ensure that they feel free to be their true selves within a judgement-free environment. Whether you're new to therapy or searching for new ways to set and accomplish your goals, I will tailor my approach to accommodate your individual needs.
I look forward to taking this journey with you. I am available via a tele-health platform ,or in our Highland Ave, Waterbury location.
