Shoshana Klayman
LCSW
I have a deep-rooted commitment to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, backed by professional expertise in a variety of settings. But I also believe that clients are the experts in their own lives.
I have worked with clients of all ages, from as young as three to late adulthood, in outpatient therapy settings; methadone clinics; intensive outpatient programs; inpatient psychiatric units, and in-home crisis intervention. One thing remains constant: the focus of therapy should be based on what YOU wish to work on.
Through cognitive behavioral techniques and grounding methods, I can guide you to address your struggles with Major Depression, Suicidality, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Personality Disorders, and Addiction/Substance Use Disorders. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling, depending on the need.
My main therapeutic goal is to create a safe environment, free of judgment and pressure. Once we find ourselves in a comfortable space, the healing process may begin. I would be honored to learn more about your journey.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cooking.
