Congratulations on taking the first step toward change. If you are reading this you have recognized something in your life is not working. Perhaps you are experiencing conflicts at work, stuck in an unhealthy relationship, or somehow feeling inauthentic. Together in a safe and collaborative environment we can work to better understand unhealthy functioning and move to create change. My style is nurturing, honest, supportive and fused with humor.
I work with children, adults and seniors, to relieve pain, lessen stress and develop appropriate coping strategies for relieving symptoms of depression and anxiety, often brought on by life transitions. have a Masters degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Masters degree in Teaching from Columbia University.
I completed a fellowship at the Columbia University Child Study Center where I did research on early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders. I trained in (CBT) and Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am a licensed yoga instructor versed in mediation techniques.
