Hello, I’m Amanda Ouellet, a Licensed Master Social Worker. I’ve worked in the social work field for over 10 years in various settings. I achieved my undergraduate degree from Western Connecticut State University and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University.
My approach is client-focused and strength based, meeting my clients where they are at, working to motivate and empower. I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment to work towards identifying and achieving goals, as well as identifying triggers, and coping skills. I am empathetic, dedicated, compassionate, and feel that a therapeutic relationship is important. I have had experience working with children, adults, families, and older adults who have struggled with various mental health issues, such as childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, etc. I look forward to working with my clients in assisting to help navigate challenges and achieve personal growth.
I am available via telehealth or in person in the West Main Waterbury Office.
