I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of experience in the fields of social work and counseling. I have worked in multiple outpatient settings providing clinical services to adolescents, adults and older individuals from diverse backgrounds. Using a person centered, strengths based approach to develop a therapeutic partnership with my clients is the foundation of my practice. I will assist and support you
as you set goals and develop the skills, motivation, and insight to create the change you seek in your life. I have training in several evidence-based models of psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational
Interviewing/Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MI/MET), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT), and Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT).

I work with people who are seeking help with a wide range of issues affecting their daily lives, including Anxiety Disorders, Life Transitions, Self Esteem, Relationship Issues,
Coping Skills, Chronic Pain, Stress Management, PTSD, Mood Disorders, and Emotional Dysregulation.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and my Master’s in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University.
