Arelis M. Guillermo is a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Arelis has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Connecticut Central State University. She provides therapy services for a diverse population ranging from children to the elderly community with various socioeconomic backgrounds. Arelis uses an integrated approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. As a psychotherapist, she has conducted individual, couple, and family therapy for clients with a range of life issues and/or disorders including both long-term and brief interventions.
 

Areas of expertise include:
TF-CBT therapy uses trauma intervention on the sexual abuse, domestic and physical violence, or related concerns Children and adolescents with behavioral and mood issues ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, and Depression, Couples Counseling Life stresses and next steps Arelis approach both therapy and assessments as a healing process helping to answer deep-seated questions that individuals have about themselves and/or family of origin. She provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. Arelis believes that change happens when people are given the support, they need to draw on their own strengths and realized their potential to live a healing and fulfilling life.
